three positions. Each position uses a 5/8" pin.

The first position, the primary position, keeps the rack locked in the horizontal position. The second position allows the loaded scooter rack to lift and float
over dips and curbs. The third position will permit you to store the rack in a
vertical position.

The model #500RV, 500RV plus & 350RV mechanism allows the loaded Scooter
Rack to lift and float over dips and curbs. It also stores in a vertical position
when not in use.

We listen to our customers! As a result, we are now producing a
smaller rack. The #350RV offers a scaled-down version of the #500RV.
It's great for lower and smaller vehicles!

The Tilt-a-Rack^® #350RV has all the same features as the #500RV. But if your scooter or electric chair (or any other load) doesn't weigh over 350 pounds, why not scale down to this smaller size that's even easier to use?

Both racks incorporate our ingenious "lift and float" feature as an accompaniment to our unique new leveling device.

Another customer request has resulted in our new enhanced hitch bar for the #350 and #500 models, which features height adjustments. The optional hitch bar provides the ability to raise or lower the rack 4" up or 4" down, in 2" increments, for total adjustability of 8".

This new feature allows the rack to be loaded at a lower position for an even more gradual ramp incline, if needed. It also means that low-clearance vehicles can carry these racks at a higher level. All our carriers are available with either class II or class III hitch bars.

SPECIAL SAFETY FEATURES

The tilt feature eliminates the need for ramps. With the flip of a latch, the rack
tilts easily toward the passenger side.

The deck extender pulls out from underneath the carrier reduces the angle of
incline. It also reaches the curb for loading and unloading. This feature is
especially helpful when a handicap curb ramp is not available.

All of the Tilt-a-Rack® models feature a special leveling bolt to compensate for
hitches that might not be absolutely level. There is a hinging device located just behind the hitch., which has three positions. The first position keeps the rack locked
in the horizontal position. The second position allows the loaded Scooter Carrier to
lift and float over dips and curbs. The third position allows the empty rack to be folded into a vertical position for storage. Class II 1 1/4" hitch bars and an optional adjustable-height hitch bar (class II & III) are also available for low and smaller vehicles.
