It's all in the tires.
The wheel is an 8" Rim, but the
tire has a width of 6 inches. The trick is to run lower air pressure in the tire and it will not cause
excessive wear, because the load is not heavy. Maximum of 35 lbs minimum of 25
lbs for lighter bike loads 200 to 300 lbs
This trailer will NOT bounce, the tires act almost like a pneumatic shock.
This method actually works better than torsion axles, because single bikes do not have enough weight to properly flex these torsion axles. When they don't flex they ride hard and bounce.
